The #KnotOnMyPlanet campaign launched on September 9th, 2016 and its objective was to bring elephant poaching and the ivory crisis to the forefront of conversation by leveraging New York Fashion Week as a launch moment for influencers, companies and partners to come together and declare: Elephant poaching - Knot On My Planet! The launch included multiple media and influencer engagement moments such as the highly talked about and “near flawless” (according to Vogue) launch event, the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting and of course the launch day itself. The social media campaign was very successful in reaching a global audience (over 1.6 billion impressions) garnering support from top influencers (Gigi Hadad, Cara Delavigne, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls) and companies like Tiffany & Co., Calvin Klein, Loewe, Moschino) raising over $2 million dollars and securing over 35 unique pieces of coverage that told the story of the Elephant Crisis Fund and provided a clear call to action to stop elephant poaching.
The Samsung Creators initiative was geared towards launching the Grea 360, getting it in the hands of amateur filmmakers and democratizing the 360/VR category. As a part of the program, we ran the Creators Awards where filmmakers could create and submit work across 10 categories and win prizes and a trip to NYC for the Award Show which was held at 837 and had a masterclass on 360/VR led by acclaimed filmmaker, Guy Shelmerdine, who premiered his latest VR film called MULE at the event.
